Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an Mexican American broadcaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN in the role of anchor for SportsCenter news, as well as host of SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since the age of nine years old. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. Additionally, she was host of on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She was promoted as anchor of sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She also served as an anchor on sports for Primer Impacto, a magazine show on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins was a native of Veracruz, Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985, in Mexico City. She is younger than her sister. The family relocated in Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. In 1992, her parents separated following which, in the year 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. The summer of 2006, she went to spend one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. A senior at high school, but having a clear vision of the direction she was going to take for her life, Antonietta visited her local University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her preferences. It was discovered that she was a fan of the campus as well as the fact that it offered an academic program that she liked. After graduating from school, she was enrolled at the University to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and was also the director of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a participant. They formed a strong connection. Mark's passion for journalism and the confidence she had in herself encouraged her. She, in turn strived to exceed the requirements of his boss and not fail him.
